There are thirty-four parts to this study, which looks at the remarkable revelation given to the apostle John as he was "in the Spirit on the Lord's Day". (Revelation 1:9-11) John was "the disciple whom Jesus loved" (John 13:23, John 19:26 and John 20:2) He was a leader amongst the churches in Asia Minor, where he unashamedly preached the good news about Jesus Christ. This upset the authorities who exiled him to the island of Patmos, a remote prison colony in the Aegean Sea. It was here that he was given a vision of future events, such as we see unfolding on a daily basis in the world today. Some of his visions remain vague and uncertain, whilst others we cannot fully understand at all. Nonetheless, this is an interesting study that can cast light on various events that are unfolding in the course of our own lives.
